GIVING THE GIFT OF GIVING TO OUR VINAL COMMUNITY

We are thrilled to share that we're bringing back the Vinal Gift of Giving back to Vinal on Dec. 13th to allow Vinal students and siblings to 'shop' donated items in the Vinal cafeteria to give members of their families so they can participate in whichever gift giving tradition you and your family celebrate.

How it Works

Volunteer At the Event

  • Like new items are donated and collected at a few collection points (start your pile today)!

  • Please RSVP for every shopper so we know how many gifts will be needed. RSVP sheet coming soon.

  • On Sat, Dec. 13th from 2-5pm students can shop for each of their family members (they will get one ticket for each member of their family)

  • Sat, Dec. 13 from 1-2pm is sensory-friendly shopping time

  • Children will be guided through the shopping experience with a teen or adult volunteer and get to visit the gift wrapping station before leaving with their gifts.

  • This is not a drop-off event, parents will wait in the lobby for their children.

About the Items You Can Donate

Please ensure:

  • ALL Items must be NEW or LIKE NEW

  • No stuffies/stuffed animals

  • Clothing is only accepted if it is brand new, never worn, and with tags

  • No shoes & No food please

  • No products that have been opened

  • Nothing alive (plants included) :) 

  • No need to buy anything, these should be items you already own and are ready to pass along.
